What adapter do I need for PhoneFusion One VoIP service?

A 2-way cable modem or DSL broadband Internet connection is required. You will also need an adapter from PhoneFusion One, which will be sent to you after you have ordered this service, and a standard household cordless or corded telephone.

Are there any specific PC or software requirements?

No. The service works with both PCs and Macintoshes with most of the popular Web browsers.

Are there any specific DSL or cable modem requirements?

You must have a broadband connection via DSL or 2-way cable modem with at least 90 Kbps upstream and downstream speed available for each phone line. You must also have an Ethernet port on your DSL or Cable modem. USB-only modems are not supported.

What kind of adapter can I use with this service?

You can only use the adapter that is provided by PhoneFusion One.

Will any telephone work with the adapter?

Yes, the adapter is compatible with most standard corded or cordless telephones.

I have an Integrated Cable/DSL Modem and Router - can I sign up for PhoneFusion One’s VoIP service?

Most integrated modems/routers are supported by the service. When you install your configuration, you should use the alternative setup for positioning the adapter behind the router.

I have a static IP address - can I sign up for PhoneFusion One’s VoIP service?

Yes, static IP addresses are supported. However, you must tell us what type of IP addess you have when you sign up.

I have a private IP address - can I sign up for PhoneFusion One’s VoIP service?

Yes, private IP addresses are supported. However, you must tell us what type of IP address you have when you sign up.
