What is Call Waiting?

With Call Waiting, a tone signals you if another person calls when you’re already on the phone. When you hear the tone, briefly press and release the telephone switch hook (on the base of the phone) or the "flash" button on your phone. This will put the first call on hold while you answer the incoming call. To return to the first call (and to switch back and forth), press and release the switch hook or flash button again.

What is Caller ID?

With Caller ID, the incoming caller's telephone number and name (if available) are displayed on your Caller ID unit or Caller ID-equipped phone before you answer. With PhoneFusion One, callers state their name when they call, so you know the name and number of the person who is calling. Caller ID is always on. It is a standard feature through PhoneFusion One service.

Is there an extra charge for calls that I make using 3-Way Calling?

There may be. If you are not signed up for an unlimited nationwide calling plan and you make calls with 3-Way Calling to numbers that are a long distance or a local toll call from your PhoneFusion One number, you will be charged per-minute rates for the duration of the forwarded call. If you make calls to international numbers, you will pay the per-minute charges for that country for every call forwarded.

What is Call Forwarding?

Call Forwarding allows you to forward your calls to another number, such as your cellular phone. You can set up this number via your PhoneFusion One number or by accessing your account on the Web. Call Forwarding is a standard feature through PhoneFusion One service.

Can I sign up for a Second Line?

Yes, you can. While PhoneFusion One comes with a single phone line by default, if you need more than one line, you can sign up for additional extensions for a monthly fee.

Is there an extra charge for calls completed using Call Forwarding?

There may be. If you are not signed up for an unlimited nationwide calling plan and you forward calls to numbers that are a long distance or a local toll call from your PhoneFusion One number, you will be charged per-minute rates for the duration of the forwarded call. If you forward calls to international numbers, you will pay the per-minute charges for that country for every call forwarded.
