What kind of high-speed Internet connection do I need?

You need an Internet connection via cable modem (2-way cable) or DSL with at least 90 Kbps upstream and downstream speed. If you don't know the speed of your service, please refer to your Internet service agreement.

If I do not have a high-speed Internet connection what should I do?

You will need to obtain a high-speed Internet connection in order to use a PhoneFusion One VoIP phone

Can I use the VoIP service with a Satellite ISP?

No, this is not supported.

What happens if I change my high-speed Internet service provider?

If you change your broadband provider or service location then you should follow the setup instructions provided to you with the adapter to reconfigure it to the new connection. Your service should not be interrupted.

Does PhoneFusion One VoIP work with any DSL or cable connection?

PhoneFusion One VoIP will work on most broadband DSL or 2-way cable modem connections. The downstream and upstream bandwidth is very important. The upstream bandwidth must be a minimum of 90 Kbps per phone call. Additional data traffic on the upstream or downstream during a call can affect the voice quality. This VoIP service does not work on dial-up connections.

What happens to my service if my cable/DSL provider experiences a temporary outage?

PhoneFusion One VoIP requires that your cable/DSL Internet connection be up and running in order to place and receive calls on your PhoneFusion One VoIP phone; however, if your cable/DSL service does suffer an outage, you call will be sent to all phones set up in your Find Me/Follow Me settings to ensure that you never miss a call.
