FAQ - General Questions
PhoneFusion One is an Internet company offering one service with both VoIP and Unified Communications, making it different from any other product offered in the market today. You can take advantage of the new VoIP standards for telephone service at much lower costs than standard telephone lines, and also receive a complete call control system to enable you to receive your inbound calls at any phone of your choice, anywhere in the world, at any time!
Unified Communications means that you get ONE new number that acts as a starting point for your incoming calls. Callers dial your PhoneFusion One number and hear your announcement, and then PhoneFusion One can call an unlimited number of phones (that you have programmed through our website) simultaneously or in sequence, so you can answer wherever you are, from whichever phone you choose.
Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that allows you to make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone line. You simply plug the adapter (sold by PhoneFusion One) into your Cable or DSL Modem, and plug a standard household telephone into the adapter. You can then place and receive calls over this phone without any interruption to your Internet service. PhoneFusion One VoIP service gives you great local and long distance plans, saving you money on your monthly phone bills.
PhoneFusion One is a complement to existing phone service, offering a number of advantages over regular telephone services. It provides all of the features and capabilities similar to regular telephone service, as well as additional features only available from PhoneFusion One. This includes local, long distance, and international calling, Call Waiting, 3-Way Calling, Call Forwarding, and Caller ID.
