FAQ - Changing your PhoneFusion One plan
Can I change my PhoneFusion One phone number?
Yes, it is possible to change your number. To change numbers, call Customer Service at 1-888-208-7801. Phone numbers cannot be changed via our website.
I have a phone line from my local phone company. Can I transfer that phone number to my PhoneFusion One service?
In many cases, you can transfer the phone number on a current phone line to PhoneFusion One. To request a transfer, contact Customer Service.
If you change your primary telephone number from the number you originally received with PhoneFusion One, you will be assessed a one-time service fee of $50 for that change. This fee will show up on your next bill.
If I change my PhoneFusion One number, will I lose information like Detailed Call Reports, Voicemail or Faxes?
Yes, you will lose all of these records. When you change to a new number, your number will not have any information associated with your previous number. We recommend that you save all records and information from your old number prior to calling us to change your number.
In many cases, you can transfer the phone number on your current phone line to PhoneFusion One. This transfer can be done at the time you order the service, or you can request a transfer after your service has been established.
If you want to use your current phone number with PhoneFusion One, you can request it be ported when you place your PhoneFusion One order. We will contact your telephone company in order to port the number, but please note that this can take up to six (6) weeks.
